Description
Your tour begins in Bozi Dar (Gottesgab). The city is situated 1028 meters above sea level and is the highest town in Central Europe.
From the parking lot the trail leads you, past the town hall, in nature. Until Blatensky vrch (Plattenberg) you use the bike path with the number 36.
Immediately after leaving Bozi Dar, you can see the Bozidarsky Spicak (Gottesgaber Spitzberg). He is 1115 meters high and so the highest volcano in Central Europe.
On the way is also the Blatensky prikop (Plattener Kunstgraben). The 12.85 km long “Kunstgraben” was built from 1540 to 1554 to transport water from the Schwarzwasser in Gottesgab to Platten, because the need for the tin mines, could not be met. The Kunstgraben running around the Bozidarske raseliniste (Gottesgaber Hochmoor). It has a size of about 1,000 ha and is the largest nature reserve in the Ore Mountains.
Once you see the attractions of nature and left them behind you, you can reach without much effort Blatensky vrch (Plattenberg). It is 1043 meters high. On the mountain there is a tower.
The return route leads you through the forest (Cycle 2198). Again and again you beautiful views in a unique landscape.
Once you’re gone over the hill, you reach the forest again. After a view meters there is Mrtvy Rybnik. The water is stained dark, so the pond is also called the dead pool. Mrtvy Rybnik was created in the 16th Century.
After a few kilometers you reach the Bozidarsky Spicak (Gottesgaber Spitzberg). After you have climbed almost to the summit, the trail leads you through the forest back to Bozi Dar (Gottesgab).
