Dam Cranzahl

Description

The starting point of the hike is the dam Cranzahl. It was built in the early 50′s, and supplies a large part of the region with drinking water.

First you walk over the dam. From there, you have a wonderful view. You can also see in the Pöhlberg. Closer is the Bärenstein.

When you arrived the other side of the dam, a very good path leads into the forest. The track is now exclusively in the forest. After a few minutes, you will reach a shelter, after this shelter, turn left.

Again, after a short time you past a stream. Now you have about half of the path taken behind you.
